Privacy Policy for UV Light Simulator

This Privacy Policy explains what information UV Light Simulator ("the app") stores, what it does not do, and what is sent to Google through the services built into the app.

What This App Stores on Your Device

Your settings — sound, vibration, theme, quality options — are saved on this device only, in the app's private storage. They are not uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes them.

What This App Does Not Do

This app has no account system and asks for no personal details. It does not use the camera, the microphone, or your location, and it does not read your files, contacts, or messages. It contains no advertising. It does not read your advertising identifier — that collection is switched off deliberately.

The permissions it requests are vibration, network access, and permission to show notifications.

The feedback screen does not send anything by itself. It composes a message and hands it to your own email app, which sends it from your address only after you press send there.

What Is Sent to Google

Google Firebase is built into the app and provides four things:

  • Cloud Messaging, so the app can receive notifications. Your device is given a registration token that identifies this installation of the app.
  • Crashlytics, which reports crashes together with the device model, the operating system version, and what the app was doing at the time.
  • Performance Monitoring, which measures start-up and screen render times along with basic device and network information.
  • Analytics, which records anonymous usage, such as which screens are opened.

Each of these attaches an identifier to your installation: a messaging token, an analytics instance ID, a crash-reporting ID. They identify this copy of the app on this device rather than you, and they are replaced if you reinstall it.

This information goes to Google and is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone else. Uninstalling the app stops all of it.

The app contains no in-app purchases and handles no payments.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here and at the online address above, with a new effective date.
